Wedding Color Palettes for Different Seasons

Though wedding season pretty much happens all year long, each season brings about a different color palette that you might want to keep in mind when planning your wedding! But how do you choose when there’s so many options?

Never fear - Gautier is here! Today we’re going to explain how to choose your wedding color palette based on what season you’re getting married in. Read on for inspiration!

WINTER WEDDING COLORS (DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY)

Time for a winter wonderland wedding! You have some gorgeous colors to consider for a winter wedding. Think of whites, reds, and purples - cooler weather calls for strong opulent and royal hues. Bolder and deeper colors are great, but you can also opt for pastels that give off an icy feel. And if you’re getting married in February, why not tie in your color palette with Valentine’s Day and go for shades of pink and red?

SPRING WEDDINGS (MARCH, APRIL, MAY)

We love a spring wedding! The foliage is in full bloom and the weather is not too warm and not too cold. Warm pinks, corals, and soft yellows are perfect for spring nuptials. Pastels are great for these shades as well! You can go for greens, creams, and whites to pair with these colors.

SUMMER WEDDINGS (JUNE, JULY, AUGUST)

Of course, you can always go for a beachy or garden theme for your summer wedding. You can mix shades of turquoise and gray, or you can go bolder and opt for bright pinks, blues, greens, oranges, and yellow!

FALL WEDDING COLORS (SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER)

Fall wedding color palettes are simply gorgeous - consider purples, burgundies, rust, reds, and any other earthier shades that feel autumnal. We also love the idea of incorporating golds and metallics with a fall wedding as you approach colder weather. It’s great to go for rustic palettes and muted colors.
